London-market awareness research....

Visiting London on tuesday was really cool, as i could scout round the shops and pick up on trends and become inspired for my own work....as to be honest, i've been lacking the ideas just recently! now though, i am full of inspriation and ready to pull out the stops!!

Major Project....suddenly college has got serious!

My new work....major project!

Love, L.O.V.E, romance.... i'm thinking of incorporating the old 'L' word into my final major project, in a sort of romantic imagery kind of way. i intend on making neckpieces from maasai inspired collars and beading, but using sweet little love birds and roses as appliqued enhancements....

so this is how it looks at my house at the moment....i think its very exciting although my friend kim tillyer is completely house bound!
i've been busy with college work today as i didn't make it in again, so have been working from home....
would love to be painting more canvases for Etsy though instead! then at least i feel i'm doing something really productive!

let it snow....

so, the snow came and i'm house bound for a while....but its given me time to start research properly for my major project, due in in june this year-or is it may actually?!
i'm thinking of taking a slightly different approach to the major project and not focusing so much on Tanzania for once, just to give my portfolio a different entry! but of course, the concept behind my idea is of tanzania and the colour pallette shall be of muted african tones too....
